KindlyCare

Android, UI/UX, 2014

Brief

Redesigned for Android

KindlyCare is a San Fransico based start-up. Their app helps family members manage caregivers for their loved ones. It also has a separate app which helps caregivers manage their clients. It was the latter for which I created mobile app designs. This app helps caregivers manage their daily checklists, review work, and handle payments.

My role

I started out by defining their color palate based on the concept. After this I did an analysis of the requirements to identify all the user scenarios for which I created wireframes. On the basis of these two, I created the visual design.

Understanding the context

Before starting on this application, I studied the complete KindlyCare eco-system, which consisted of 3 applications, out of which I was to design one. I also studied the concepts and mock-ups of the existing applications to understand their interactions and design patterns, before proceeding.

Summary Reports

After every appointment, a care giver is required to submit a summary report to the care receiver's family. To do so, the caregiver needs to fill in a few metrics, along with access to the overall performance of the care receiver. below is a detailed interaction model for this feature.
